I'm not sure it was an argument, but it was the worst night of my high school life. Debbie Johnson, Barbara Hughes, and I were going to a dance held at the school (in the cafeteria, if I'm not mistaken). We decided we wanted to get drunk - you need to understand, we didn't drink, none one of us did. So, I got a "Good Season's" salad dressing cruet out of the pantry, went to my Dad's bar and poured a little bit of liquor out of each bottle into it. There must have been 50 varieties and I have no idea what I mixed up; it was undoubtedly a lovely mixture, a wide variety of liquor along with remnants of Italian dressing, yum. Anyway, I put the cruet bottle in my purse and set it in the foyer while I waited for whomever was taking me to the dance to arrive.
