About My Work Life Earned my nursing degree from Boise State University. Worked at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise for 18 years in Pediatrics then the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Took a travel nursing assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii at Kapiolani Women's & Children's for 2 years. Took another assignment to Children's Hospital in Fresno for 1 year, then moved to Seattle. I love being an NICU nurse. My job presents challenges & rewards that I wouldn't trade for anything! When the babies I took care of, come back to see me when they are older, I'm amazed that I was given the opportunity to help them grow & develop to be the children they are!
