Suwannee River Flood The flood waters have gone down some but are expected to rise up again. Rain dumped on South Georgia and Norh Florida last night by the bucket fulls. Today there is a fifty percent chance of rain, so, we may get some more flooding. Luckily I am well out of that hundred year flood plain that has been filling up. I can however see the flooding from my front door. The water left the banks nearby and has spread through an open area near by. The workers spent months clearing and planting for cows, only to have to move all of the cows. I have friends though that enjoy river front homes that are now uprooted until the water goes down. I hope to post some photos taken midway through the flooding and maybe some more today or tomorrow.

About My Personal Life I've lived in Austin for nearly 10 years--moved here for an auditing position with the State after graduating from Prairie View A&M in 1996. I have a daughter, Kieran Elizabeth, who will be 2 yrs. old in June. She is absolutely the best thing that's ever happened to me! Even though I haven't been blessed to find a suitable lifemate, my work and home life are great, and I couldn't be happier or more content with my life as it is right now. :-)
