The Quiet Life I really love the quiet life. If I have time to just sit and think, or to write in my journal, I feel like I have won the lottery. As I get older I realize how precious every day is. I have spent so much of my life focused on the future. Work! Work! Work! It came before myself, and others. Why??? Probably just to satisfy my need to achieve goals, and to feed my ego. In the process I was busy beating myself up for not being perfect. I know, I know. It's really crazy, but I realized not too long ago, that I will never be perfect. Yeah........ I'm sure there's a few other type A personalities out there that struggel to embrace the same concept :( I also realized with the current state of affairs in the U.S. that my fancy future was in serious jepordy of not working out. I was kinda forced to live in the present. It was the best thing that could have happend! Here I am, with a lot more time on my hands, waaaaay less stressed out,
