My appearence may be waning.My cloths a bit tattered or torn. But I try oh how
I try. There was a time when I looked just like you.
I had a home, a family, a garden with a cat.
It seems so long, When my daughter was born the joy I
felt couldn't be contained. But alas, it seems so
long ago. The day she died I cried, but then I stopped.
My spirit went with her, I miss her. It seems so long
ago...When you see me don't be frightened, I wouldn't
hurt a fly. I watch when you play with your children,
like I use to do. It seems so long ago.
When I awake, it's often cold. For a time the bottle
was my comfort. But it betrayed me. Seems so long ago.
Next time you pass, please say hello. though my
cloths are worn. I was a son, a father, a brother, a
friend. It seems so long ago
