About My Personal Life My father's last name was Castagna, I use that now.
I am an Artist, Graduating from the San Francisco Art Institute (established 1871). A few of the artists who have helped to build the Institute are Ansel Adams, Clyfford Still, Mark Rothko, Jay DeFeo, Robert Graham, Annie Leibovitz, Ernie Gehr, Imogen Cunningham, Joan Brown, Wiliam Wiley, Catherine Opie, Karen Finley and Bruce Conner. I worked through the Photo department (established by Ansel Adams 50 years ago), the Film department (into which I had been excepted), and most importantly the New Genres department which covers theory, public art, performance, installation, and video.
