Have you ever tried to adopt a wild animal? I caught everything I could get my hands on when I was a kid including snakes, spiders (including a tarantula), horny toads and other types of lizards, turtles, wiggletails (mosquito larvae), minnows, a bat, a possum, a raccoon, an armadillo, a leech from a pond, hydras from the creek, a rat, several mice, and many birds. I had monkeys for pets growing up and once had a brown bear cub named Boo Boo, but he was not too thrilled about being in captivity, never got tame, and grew at an amazing rate! Also had the usual dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, fish, etc. Now I just live quietly with one old cat rescued from the pound.
