About My Personal Life I am currently a high school guidance counselor at West Des Moines Valley High School, the largest high school in the state of Iowa. I love my work but find it to be very up and down, one minute trying to get a student into Harvard the next trying to keep one alive or into rehab.Karen and I have been married since 95. We have no children yet but are hoping our adoption through Catholic Charities will be soon. We've been waiting since March of 98. It has given time to travel without thinking of anyone but ourselves. Ha.I did spend 2 years as the counselor in Sac. Talk about having your past rubbed in your face! I thought it was cool reading some of the old files. I've got a secret!My favorite class memory today is the tornado at the ten year reunion.
