About My Personal Life I went all the way to Golden for 4 years of
college, interrupted only by a co-op at a gold
mine in Elko, Nevada, where I lived in the heart
of the red light district tucked behind a
casino.
Teaching myself to gamble and learning the
horrors that would make a woman sell her body are
much more valuable to me today than my degree in
Chemical Engineering.
Despite my distaste for engineering, I
liked going to school with engineers
b/c I finally got to be known as "the funny
one." Most of the time, I just asked
myself, "What would Rick say?" and then blurt out
something like "F*ck, my legs are broke!"
I lived in Peoria, Illinois for 3 years; a town
who's conservatism was a shock to my system after
becoming accustomed to hearing, "Whooo, yeah!
Gonna get me a hooker!" as I went to sleep.
I managed to escape, if you call Longmont an
escape. But I love my job now, working for
