About My Personal Life Graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education: Minors: Math, Science and English. Started my career teaching fifth grade right out of college for Manistee Area Public Schools. This will be my tenth year with MAPS. I have coached JV and Varsity Volleyball for MAPS. I am currently working on my masters degree in administration. Over the past seven years, my students have won the School of the Year Award in the State of Michigan in Science! They also won two Science Awards at the National Level!! Do I love my job? You bet!!!
