After graduation I attended East Texas Baptist University. I later became a member of the U.S. Navy Band Southwest in San Diego, and am now a member of the U.S. Fleet Forces Band, and will be auditioning for the U.S. Naval Academy Band. I am a music teacher at Music and Arts here in Norfolk, teaching clarinet and bass guitar. I now have an extensive professional musical resume, which includes playing for major artists such as Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, & Big Mountain, and orchestras such as the San Diego and La Jolla Symphonies, as well as running my own contracting business writing music and hiring musicians to perform for major acts. I am currently the frontman for a small jazz combo where I sing jazz, rock, and r&b tunes, as well as play jazz flute, sax, and clarinet on jazz gigs that don't require vocals.
