Death of a loved one: Part 1 So, I just got out of a 5 year relationship. Took me 3 months to grieve and to accept the fact that my ex cheated on me with another female for who knows how long. You wonder why it only took me 3 months to get over him after 5 years of being together, well, let me tell you this; I did not have a single soul who I trusted.
