About My Personal Life I graduated from Michigan State in 1993, with a
degree in Journalism. Tried to get a journalism
job, but they were few and far between (and very
low-paying). I spent 5 years working in a
bookstore, primarily in the children's section.
I now work in the communications department of
Borders Group (the headquarters of the bookstore
chain). I like the job a lot.
I've been married to Tim since 1994 and our son,
Adam, was born in April of 2001.
